January 4 2008 Campus Closure

As a result of the storms and power outages on January 4, 2008, UCSC closed.  Those CUE workers scheduled  but unable to work because of the closure are eligible for and will receive administrative leave with pay.  When you report the time your worked, any worker who came to work any part of that day should record a combination of regular time worked and the portion that may have been administrative leave with pay.

Workers who had pre-scheduled vacation or other leave on that day should record their time consistent with that.  In other words, if you were already off work on that day and were not, in fact, affected by the closure, record your leave as vacation, sick, or whatever leave it was.
