This fall, the current CUE contract will be ending. Soon the CUE and UC Bargaining Teams will be meeting to bargain the next contract. Given the recent Governor's proposed budget cuts, he will likely not honor the Compact for 2005-2009 for wage increases. With this said, CUE Statewide Campaign Committee is looking for committee members to help plan a campaign. The committee will possibly meet, for 1 day, likely in Southern California, for a planning session. The travel expenses will be paid for or reimbursed by CUE Statewide. The other meetings will likely be teleconference meetings for approximately 1-2 hours once or twice a month.
