LOCAL LEADERSHIP ELECTION RESULTS

On July 24, 2008, CUE ballots for the Local 10 Executive Board were counted. The following are the results and announcement of Local 10’s new leadership team, effective August 11, 2008.

All offices are two-year terms and expire in 2010.

*Melissa Finley withdrew from consideration as Chief Steward after the ballots were mailed. There are two remaining vacant At-Large positions and one representative to the Statewide Executive Board.

The Executive Board is actively seeking candidates for Local 10’s leadership team. CUE workers interested in being considered for a leadership position should send a letter of interest, including a statement about why you wish to serve, to the attention of Nora Hochman, at the union office. You must be a union member to hold office.

The Executive Board will review all such letters of interest and, in accordance with Local 10’s Constitution, consider appointment of interested persons to the Executive Board.
