On Wednesday November 19, CUE Local 10 will join our colleagues and co-workers in AFSCME, UPTE, UAW, and AFT at 7:00am (until 9:15am) at the main campus entrance in an informational picket in solidarity with workers attending the Regents meeting in San Francisco.

Our message is simple:

As you know, CUE is still at the bargaining table, where the University is demanding increased employee contributions to the retirement fund and health insurance premiums. Both of these demands, if met, represent wage cuts.

COME RAISE YOUR VOICE! TAKE A STAND! TAKE THE FLYERS AND DISTRIBUTE THEM AT YOUR WORKSITES! COMMUNICATE WITH CHANCELLOR BLUMENTHAL AND PRESIDENT YUDOF – TELL THEM UCSC WILL RESIST DEMANDS FOR CONCESSIONS!

It’s time to stand and be counted. If not us, who? If not now, when?
